DIG IT were excited to secure this contract; one that has allowed us involvement in the NSW Golf Clubs vision for the future of the club. The future being a new underground, state of the art training facility with an indoor/outdoor driving range. A putting green will sit on top of the buried building. Their storage facility building will now also be located underground with the public car park sitting on top.
DIG IT prepared the site by clearing and grubbing all vegetation and tree stumps over an area of 2200m2. We then demolished the existing asphalt car park. We bulk excavated over 3000m3 of sand for the underground facilities and then reused huge quantities of this sand to backfill behind the buildings walls. Detailed excavation was also carried out for the footings.
